Miss USA is a Fraud
Miss USA, Nia Sanchez of Nevada basically got outed on the radio the other day for not knowing the capital of her home state of Nevada (it's Carson City, but who cares?). This is pretty embarrassing for sure, but if you're not making a fool of yourself in public, you're not doing Miss USA right. It's even worse when someone then calls you out for not being from Nevada. Apparently this chick moved to Nevada because she couldn't win Miss California. She lost something like three times before she finally packed up and moved to Nevada where she only had to beat out some Vegas hookers.
A lot of people are hating on her for this move. I'm OK with it only because she comes back and beats Miss California in the big leagues. Like that's gotta be pretty cool. Just throwing it right back in her face. I guess California still wins cause she doesn't live in Nevada, but still.
At a certain point you have to look at the integrity of the sport though. We can't just have these 10's from California moving out to the mid west and blowing away 4's in Wisconsin or North Dakota. If you can't make it in the bigs that's it. I'm not even sure the middle of the country should be allowed to compete. Coast's only.
