Seriously is this shit the most ridiculous thing of all time? Like how is this a good look for the sport of basketball? Look at this asshole parading around the country like the God King guy in the 300 movie having people beg him to play in their city. Any team that participates in the Melo (or anyone else) recruitment tour loses all of the tiny amount of respect I had for them. If this becomes a thing in the NBA that every free agent does, it would be right up there with retiring at the beginning of your last season as the worst thing in sports ever. And the worst part about all of this is that you hear about it like it's normal. Every day on SportsCenter or any of the radio shows you hear about who is doing what and what players are meeting with Carmelo to convince him to come play with them and they act like it's normal. "Oh Derrick Rose did a work out to prove he is healthy." "Kobe Bryant flew back from Greece to meet Carmelo." Who does that?! Pathetic people, that's who. This just adds to my endless list of reasons I hate the sport of basketball.
